This script disables most of the keys, minus the power of key and SOME of the laptop control keys(fn+F1-F12 keys). What i had in mind was to create a script to disable the keyboard and make it run on startup. I am a linux noob, so this might not be the perfect solution. Main issue what made me research for a solution on how to deactivate the laptop keyboard is that i want to rest the external keyboard on the laptop, because i hate having the laptop far away from my eyes. 3-4 keys do not work when pressed, and i bought an external keyboard to be able to use the laptop. Backstory: I'm running Kubuntu on a decent laptop which has a broken keyboard.
